Make Up For Ever 30th Anniversary Campaign

Challenge: Capture the essence of Make Up For Ever by profiling their founder, Dany Sanz, as they celebrate 30 years of designing the tools that make up artists use to create magic. To be distributed worldwide at Sephora and Make Up For Ever retail locations, communicate the essence, benefits and key selling points of the MUFE brand and top products.

Solution: Create an engaging brand essence video to celebrate the brand’s 30th anniversary milestone, filmed in Paris, on location at Dany Sanz’s studio and flagship retail branch. By integrating a sophisticated use of animation/live action we were able to weave lifestyle and MUFE tutorial elements, required by Sephora. We wanted to avoid departing from the artistic aesthetic of Dany’s footage when transitioning into segments of tutorial footage. All animation concept, illustration and execution was completed in house.
